In an effort to promote Community Service and help Support our Overseas Troop we would like to have Troop 29 work to supply a Platoon in Afghanistan with letters and other small items the would enjoy.   They put their lives on the line to protect the freedoms we enjoy.    Let's show our support for them.

There are 28 male soldiers in our platoon.   They are currently stationed in Afghanistan from their home base in Alaska.

We will be able to send packages to them until December 1^st,   after that they may not receive them due to the fact that they will be returning home early in 2010.
